Michael Jackson was an acclaimed singer, song writer and dancer from America. Born in 1958, he lived a very artistically fulfilling life. He sadly passed away in the year 2009, but he leaves behind an immense legacy that is culturally and musically very vast for a big portion of the human population. He also currently maintains quite a huge following even being deceased for more than a decade.

Born into a middle class house with nine other siblings, Michael Jackson was involved in the musical arts from a very young age. He starred in the musical group Jackson 5 with his brothers and bowled many people away with his immense talent. He had incredible vocal range for someone his age and this propelled him into stardom with very hard work that he did with his brothers, performing in different venues and places to gather a following.

The Jackson 5 started off with a lucrative deal with the record company Motown. They changed their name to Jacksons and changed the lineup, Michael Jackson still being the focus of the group. There was quick reshuffling of their works and terms as the Jackson boys managed to get more deeply into the making of music instead of simply performing songs that were played more for the attention rather than the musical merit.

In the 1970s Michael Jackson began to pursue his solo musical career, in spite of keeping close ties with his brethren. A sudden accident broke Michael’s nose and he had to get it fixed via surgery that led to health problems through out his life, but he never let that decide his fate as he continued to pursue a successful and exemplifying life as a creator and musician. He went on to win many awards and honours for his talent in later years.

In 1980s Michael Jackson won his some of first Grammy as well as American Music awards. His knowledge of music was accelerating and he was putting this prodigious knowledge to work as he created many complex and constructed musical numbers that hold a position of awe even at this time and hour. This talent brought in the moolah ringing as well. At this point Michael Jackson was one of the most famous as well as richest creators in the world.

Michael Jackson is not a very amazing artist, he is also known to be one of the most charitable one. A song of note, ‘We Are The World’, co written with singer and song writer Lionel Richie, has garnered more than 60 million USD for charity since it’s composition in 1985. He was also immensely into political and social reforms to help his fellow humans and did immensely on that front through various platforms, releasing songs that covered the existence of the underprivileged.

Jackson has been referred to as the ‘King of Pop’ because he transformed the art of music videos and paved the way for modern pop music. His influence extended beyond the music industry; he impacted dance, led fashion trends, and raised awareness for global affairs. Jackson's music and videos fostered racial diversity in MTV's roster and steered its focus from rock to pop music and R&B, shaping the channel into a form that proved enduring.

Michael Jackson was a commendable person and a true artist of the world. He leaves behind family and fans that still ache for his wonderful presence. He was a man who rose above his circumstances to the best of his abilities and conquered the world at his own pace. He continues to be remembered as a true musician and a human of this world.
